The client's brief for this project located in West Hindmarsh called for an edgy, contemporary streamlined kitchen incorporating modern elements and clean lines. The kitchen includes a European laundry and a dedicated appliance cupboard concealed behind bifold doors, which maximizes storage space and functionality. To achieve the desired contemporary look, black traceless laminate was used as the primary material to avoid fingerprints. At the same time, the natural oak feature wall adds warmth and texture to the space.
The island bench is a standout feature of the design, with black powder-coated leg detail to the ends and solid timber back panels with custom machined battens.
A vivid green handmade Spanish tiled splashback is incorporated into the design, adding a pop of colour and texture to the space while rattan barstools and a reclaimed elm dining table soften the kitchen's look, creating a dynamic and visually stunning space.
