Project Info:
The Kent town office project is a two-storey office space that underwent a modern redesign to act as the headquarters for a local plumbing company.
Working with Codesign and construct, our design featured custom-built joinery throughout and light fixtures incorporating copper pipes and industrial accents as a nod to the plumbing industry.
The communal break-out space, centred around a modern timber kitchen, is a common area for employees to take breaks or attend training sessions and functions. We used bright green to help bring the feeling of the outside in as the building had small windows and very little natural light.
Additionally, the office includes private break-out spaces with acoustic properties. These spaces facilitate quiet meetings and discussions without disturbing the rest of the office.
Overall, the Fullarton Road Office is a modern, functional workspace that caters to the needs of its employees while incorporating unique design elements that pay homage to the plumbing industry.
